The idea for Go Light Our World (GLOW) was born through several mission trips to Post Katrina New Orleans. It was there that we realized that rebuilding houses was important work but also a means to build the house of faith. Long after the house repairs have lived out their purpose, lasting relationships will continue to thrive and flourish. It was the inspiration of the selfless efforts of Pastor Willy Neudahl and his loving wife Dawn, that we received our call to missions. As the church sign proclaims, “We are ordinary people loved by an extraordinary God!” We love the heart that New Hope Alliance Church in Gretna has for loving and discipling people and worshiping God.
