What Is Required

Do you ever have those days when you give and give and it just doesn’t seem enough? When it seems everyone needs something from you, your to-do list is getting longer, not shorter, and your in-box says, “You’ve got TOO MUCH mail?

You might be relieved to hear that God’s expectations are much simpler than those you probably have for your self. He summarizes just three things He desires in your life:

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.”
Micah 6:8

What does it mean to you to be just, merciful, and humble all at the same time? If you wrote down these three words and let them guide your decisions and interactions with others, how would it change your day? What if you reflected on these every day for a month? What if they became a life ambition?

Act justly, love mercy, walk humbly with your God. Enjoy peace in the middle of hectic and chaotic days.
